Cocoa Bomb Realness

He asked for us to take a picture together the other day when Dot and I got back from the Round Rock Holiday Bizarre.

I bought them both adorable holiday mugs with hot cocoa bombs from @fairytale_treats_tx & what can I say?

They were an absolute hit for both of the kids! It must have really struck a chord with John because he was extra, extra thankful and appreciative.

One of the things I've been especially worried about and working on, especially with John, is appreciating all of the small things in life. Of course we love being able to buy him expensive video games and electronics that he's interested in, but I also want him to appreciate and love the little things in life that don't cost much but bring immense joy to his little heart.

It always catches me off guard what little things I do for him, that he really does appreciate so much and show me that he does. This was one of those times and my Mommy Heart was so touched by his appreciation for this small token to brighten his day. 

Going once again to prove; sometimes it’s the simple things that we appreciate the most.
