Tis The Season - McDonald's Angel Tree Program

Image
My mom always taught her kids to give back. It didn't matter how much or how little you have, you can brighten another person's day by giving of your time and heart. Hubs and I went to McDonalds this morning and I noticed they had an Angel Tree Program going on. I thought we'd pick up a couple of things for a couple of kids to brighten their holiday up a bit. We got a Mr Potato Head, gloves and a winter hat for a 3 year old boy. And of course some fun Hello Kitty goodies for a 5 year old girl.  I really hope whoever gets these little toys enjoy them this holiday season.  When doing something for someone else, remember that it's the thought and love put into it, not the cost. Whether it's $5 or $500, or even just the tune you give, you are truly making a difference in someone else's life for the better.  While you're out shopping for your family this year, don't forget those who may not have a very merry Christmas without a

It's been a whole minute since I've blogged. Being a mom to Johnny & Sailor take up most of my time. We've also moved (again) recently, and with the holidays coming up - well it's been crazy busy around here ! Johnny is doing great, growing like a weed. He's 22lbs now and almost 8 months old. Can you believe that ? Here's a recent picture of him. I've been thrifting like, way too much. We'll call it nesting for the new house. You  guessed it, we're moving yet AGAIN! Where we're living now is a short transitional situation. We'll soon be in a 3 bedroom house, where we'll have a nursery for Johnny and a fenced in yard for Sailor, yay ! Halloween this year was so much fun, Johnny was a Cowboy. The cutest one ever, if I do say so myself. Keep your eyes peeled for some thrifting goods I've picked up recently. More importantly, a McDonalds Giveaway of a  gift card !
