Although I had previously bought (and loved) Moonlight Path by Bath and Body Works , I was so psyched to received one full size Fragrance Mist in my Spring Beauty VoxBox from Influenster.  I am under no obligation to post this review.  I LOVE the way Moonlight Path smells.  I received the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer in my Spring Beauty VoxBox from Influenster .  I am under no obligation to post a review on this product. If you've ever had issues finding the perfect combination of colors for your skin type, Sheer Cover literally has you covered !  I really love how smooth their Duo Concealer goes on & I've had no issues with it being too thick or cakey looking. We all know (and love) SOYJOY and Influenster wanted to share the yumminess with us !  They sent me this SoyJoy bar to try out in the Spring Beauty VoxBox & I'm under no obligation to post this review.  I think these bars are great to throw in your purse when heading off to work. Let me start this by saying that I typically try NOT to air my issues here on my blog.  I'd like this to be a place people can come for fun, giveaways, to look at cute puppy pictures of Sailor .  But sometimes, I guess I just can't help but from throwing a little rant out there.  In this case, I don't think you all will blame me.  I took Hubs to work this morning, first time in over a week because I've been sick, and came home. Every morning when I come home, the first thing I do is take Sailor on a morning walk. If anything ever happened to Sailor b/c of a dog not being leashed, it would kill me. Ignorance DOES kill, people ! I took him out this morning & he tinkled in our neighbor's yard, no problem. I let him pee and we kept it moving. Just after we left that yard, I heard dogs barking a few houses down, less than a block away.  Since I'm always super protective of any potential dangerous situation when Sailor is with me, I ...

A couple of days ago I got a killer headache.  I took allergy medicine, something for my head, the pain just didn't stop until I went to sleep.  I woke up the next day with a horrid sore throat.  It was not only sore, but throbbing up both sides of my neck. Horrid stuff.  Annnyway..to make a LONG story short, I've been taking a ton of medicine & trying to get as much rest as possible. Everyone's been awesome about helping out with Sailor & getting me whatever I need.   Just wanted to update you all & I should be back on my feet soon.  I'm ready to get back out there & have some more adventures to share with you guys !  Thanks for all of the kind Tweets I've been receiving !  xoxo - A P.S. If you're anything like me, you watch a ton of t.v. and have seen The Shops at Target commercials.  I've been so excited about these boutique shops getting a chance to sell their goods at national Target stores for a short time.  I saw the signs all over Target this morning & just HAD to take a look.  As you can expect, since these are a limited run of boutique items, some of these goods are a tad more expensive than say the Target brand. They're also top quality, have great packaging and are exclusive meaning they won't be around forever, guys !  I don't know about you, but I LOVE me some candy. So when I came across The Candy Store's display on and end cap in the candy section, I hads to take me a look !  They had tons of medium clear plastic jars with black lids filled with all sorts of yummy candy goodness, but as I kept looking, I noticed these tins of specialty snacks at the bottom of the display....

Just something fun I saw yesterday.

They had this cool feature at the new Microsoft Store opening in The Domain here in Austin.  It's a step & repeat & they even had a set of photographers taking pictures !  This was a very cool addition to seeing the Zac Brown Band play live for like an hour and a half. Thanks to Dell , Skype , Microsoft Store & others who sponsored, it was truly a great event.

This time Sailor's Rope Toy bit the dust.  Just adding to the Puppy Toy Graveyard, wouldn't you say ?  At this rate his toy habit will leave us in the poorhouse !  Just kidding, I'm about to start buying Dollar Store toys & see how he likes THAT. 

Not because there's anything special going on. I just love him :) 

Okay so we all know (most) 20-something's generally don't have much ca$h to spend on parties.  Now don't get me wrong here ladies & gents, this girl loves any excuse to have some friends over, play some music & games, have a couple of drinks and let the good times roll !  However, decorating differently for EVERY party can get pretty expensive.  When living in our first apartment together, Hubs and I threw TONS of parties. Hubs ordered me a very cool little Photo Studio Kit from NoMoreRack a few weeks ago.  When it came in, I must admit it took some figuring out, but once we figured out how to set the kit up, I've been having so much fun with it !  I took some photos of part of his 40K Football Team Some of them actually came out decent ! I think he got like maybe a dozen photos from my little Football photo shoot, which is awesome.  He and I were also talking about starting a series of photographs of toys that Sailor Bear destroys.  Ever since the day we brought him home, he's been tearing toys up like a pro.  We always keep a close eye on him while he's playing with them, but from time to time he'll start munching down on one and before we can catch him, he's done irreparable damage.
