She’s been on growth hormone since she was 9 months old. I’ve always done the shots for her and at this point she just prefers Mama to handle this task.
Due to not producing her own growth hormone caused by her panhypopituitarism, she will be on this and other medications for life.
It’s just part of our weekly schedule, as she gets these injections 6 days a week. The dosage and perhaps amount of days she takes it may change with age, but since her body doesn’t produce it at all, these shots are for life.
I’ve waited a long time for for her to decorate this case and make it her own. 😍
It’s not the most fun part of our day, but she knows that these shots help keep her muscles alive and strong and keep her body alive and moving.
Dot gets it & is the best champ at dealing with these hurdles in her life.
