Some pictures from my traveling adventures.  The hotel room Mom got for us. As you can see, nothing too fun, as my road trips weren't meant for fun, but to be supportive of my family. Anyway, I did find time to take a couple of pictures along the way to help take my mind off things.  The carpet was my favorite part of the room. Over the years, I have, on more than one occasion, been accused of drifting in and out of clothing and style "phases".  Personally, did I see these adventures in clothing as "phases" ?  I have an answer to that.  Hell to the no.   This was a Halloween cosume. 1950's dress. I want too dress like this more. I remember my mom taking me to discount stores, countless sale racks, garage sales, thrift stores and other places, just looking for the cheapest, cutest clothes.  I was never put into a box of - you should wear this, or do this, or be this way. I was made to feel supported when trying new clothing styles or types or even just dressing funky or what others would ultimately consider 'strange'.  Really loved this super old 1960's Mens Sweater. It was a lil small for me tho. Damn, I only WISH I had pictures of all of the amazing outfits I came up with when I was younger.  In middle school, when I was about 12, my Mom took me to this amazing ...

Sailor seems to think it's his job to torture us. Specifically by waking us up numerous times during the night, as well as drawing blood from our extremities. Anyway, I get so tired I generally crash well before 9PM. Ahh, the things you do for puppy love!

You know, I never really had any issues with my allergies until I moved to Austin, Texas. I had previously lived in Waco/Hewitt, Texas which is approximately 100 miles from Austin. I guess I'd get a cold here and there and I know for sure I had major issues with my tonsils all the time - until they FINALLY took them out when I was 10.  But allergies ? I never had not one issue with them until I moved to Austin. My older brother, on the other hand, had horrid issues with allergies. I remember him having to go to an allergy specialist and get all of these shots on his arm and then go back to see what he was allergic to from those shots.  Turned out, he was allergic to all sorts of shiz. We all had no idea why he kept getting sick at every turn, until my mom was referred to the allergy specialist. He ended up taking shots once a week for a while and as far as I know, he outgrew most of his allergy issues.  The reason why I bring allergies up NOW, is that Hubs is having a ...

I had a great 28th birthday yesterday. Mom bought everyone breakfast and I did some shopping, then downtown Austin to get my new tattoo.
