Saying Goodbye.

Last weekend we said goodbye to my Granny Reel. At 82 years young, surrounded by her two kids and myself, she passed away peacefully and comfortably in her hospital bed. 

While it's certainly never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, she has six great grandkids and her memory will certainly live on. 

She had a beautiful memorial service, with plenty of stories that made us all laugh, which was specially what she said she always wanted. 

There were lots of lovely yellow flowers, which was her favorite color, and tons of plotted plants sent by friends and family. 

Fannie Mae Reel will be sorely missed, along with her with her fantastic sense of humor.
