Tis The Season - McDonald's Angel Tree Program

My mom always taught her kids to give back. It didn't matter how much or how little you have, you can brighten another person's day by giving of your time and heart. Hubs and I went to McDonalds this morning and I noticed they had an Angel Tree Program going on. I thought we'd pick up a couple of things for a couple of kids to brighten their holiday up a bit.

We got a Mr Potato Head, gloves and a winter hat for a 3 year old boy.

And of course some fun Hello Kitty goodies for a 5 year old girl.

I really hope whoever gets these little toys enjoy them this holiday season.

When doing something for someone else, remember that it's the thought and love put into it, not the cost. Whether it's $5 or $500, or even just the tune you give, you are truly making a difference in someone else's life for the better.

While you're out shopping for your family this year, don't forget those who may not have a very merry Christmas without a little help.

Below is a few places you can donate toys. You can also do a Google search for local donation drop off locations.

Such a good reminder that even a little bit helps! I so often get caught up in the "it's not enough so it's not worth it" game. I'm glad for the reminder.

It's so true that every little bit adds up. I have so much fun doing several small things throughout the months. I get as much from it as I'm sure the recipients do!
