Tips On NOT Being A Crappy Neighbor

So last night I was woken up by my neighbor's loud music playing until about 12:30AM.

I was NOT in the best mood having to wake up at 5:30 this morning, due to being up approximately an hour & having to call the Sheriff to come by & ask them to shut that crap off.

So I vlogged about it, yay for you ! The video is a darker quality, because I took it on my drive home this morning about 6:30ish, but it's still a valid topic !

Enjoy.

Wanna see some of the  mess that was left next door, that I got to see in the light of morning when I pulled up to my house ? You're gonna luuuuurve this shiz:

Do you have any supremely disrespectful neighbors you can't stand ?

How do  you solve problems that come up with them ?

EW!!! We have have neighbors like that behind us, and they LOVE to throw beer cans and smoke butts over the fence all the time. Once they threw over RAW meat and we were glad we got to it before my dog did because you never know, they could have laced it with something.

It's disgusting to look out my back window and see how trashed their backyard is. It's disgusting, and the noise level? OH MY GOD. And of course the PoPo does shit around here. -_-

It's been quiet lately, but it's not terribly unusual to be hearing loud music at all out hours of the night on my block. For awhile, it was pretty consistant that the music would start at around 2 or 3 AM and go to about 6 AM.... and of course, my neighbors have music tastes that in no way reflect my own.

We don't have anyone like that that lives around us, but I live in a dorm when I'm off at school, so naturally pretty much everyone is either crappy or unintentionally crappy. Yay! Close quarters...

Lucky for us, every time we've had to call the Sheriff's office about our dear neighbors, they always come out. Usually the music has stopped by then & the drunken neighbors & their friends have dispersed by that point, but I AM happy they make a drive through & use the search light to check things out. Every time. Thankfully.

I would say, that I wouldn't mind the music so much if I actually LIKED it, but that would be a lie. I love sleep way more than any music blaring keeping me awake. There are bars & clubs where you can drink & be as loud as you like. My backyard/your front yard are not the place, lol.

YES ! Close quarters living can suuuuuck ! I don't even mind them having friends over & sitting in the front yard drinking until 12:30AM - just keep the damn tejano/accordion music down & we can be COOL !

Maybe I should just sit on my back porch & practice my ukulele at 5:30AM when I wake up, just to give them a little culture music wise. Alas, I am not THAT petty, sometimes I wish I were, though.

Oh man. We used to have a neighbor that left his great dane puppy tied up in the backyard--no shelter at all--and leave him there. He'd even go on vacation and leave the dog there for days and his friends would feed him/give him water. Well, at night, the poor baby was afraid of the dark. So he'd howl and bark all night. I finally called the police and he (eventually) had the puppy taken away from him.

Never understood why anyone would take in a pet & then treat it like that. Good for you fot calling the cops!

Ugh I used to live in a primarily student neighborhood and woke up to beer bottles & cig butts on my lawn basically every Sat/Sun morning. I've moved to a more low key neighborhood & live in an apartment complex vs. a house so I don't get bothered by my neighbors nearly as much. I do worry about how loud I am being though considering I'm right on top of my neighbors!

Nice post, just stumbling through via 20SB :)

When I was a kid- we lived right next door to a bunch of guys who looked like AND THOUGHT they were Nirvana. Being the 90s- it was kind of funny- didn't really think about it that way til I was about this age. Anyways- they would blare Nirvana music (good cause I liked their music- BAD cause it was LOUD!) or they'd constantly play bad versions of their own Nirvana songs. They'd party and I always remember finding broken boards in the fence or beer cans everywhere. The only reasons we tolerated them were A:) they always threw our toys back over the fence if we lost them and B:) they helped back us up when they, too, stood around and witnessed strange lights with my family and I on the same night as the Phoenix Lights.
