For Posterity

Hubs and I had some fun spending some of my iVillage prize money this weekend. I bought only a few, high quality items & also spent money on Sailor and of course, food.

I took Hubs & I out to an amazing Japanese Steakhouse that also serves Sushi called Fujiyama.
This is probably my favorite place to eat in Austin, hands down, because of the fried rice they make. It's simply the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot).

Happy 'cause we're about to eat some yummy food!
I forgot the cook's name, sorry dude ! But he did a great job cooking our lunch & giving us a show.

I bought myself a 8GB Nook at Barnes & Noble & a cute cover for it.

Isn't he so cute ? I couldn't resist taking a little picture of him watching us, watching him.
We also hit up PetSmart to pick up a few things for Sailor. I got him a harness (that was too big & I had to return), a new KONG leash & a cute rope toy.
I'm waiting to find the perfect harness for him before I buy another, since I had to return the one I just bought.

And the adorable size 3 James Avery pinky ring I bought for myself, cause I have been wanting a pinky ring super badly for a few years now.

What fun things do you have planned for your weekend ?

They really do have great food. Of course since I love steak, zucchini, fried rice, onion soup, it's perfect ! Hubs and I actually went on our very first date there on 7/7/07, so it was kind of a little anniversary thing also. Was a great time.

Wonderful blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm totally overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Cheers!
